Blademasters can quickly destroy enemy units and buildings when they are powered up with items and levels. |

These mysterious warriors ritually blind themselves so that they develop 'spectral sight' that enables them to see demons and undead with greater clarity. They wield demonically charged warblades in battle and even call upon demonic energies to augment their formidable combat skills. |

The Beastmaster's Ultimate ability summons a stampede of exploding lizards!A warrior Hero, able to call forth the creatures of the forest to serve him. These lone wandering forest dwellers come from all backgrounds and cultures, seeking the essence of combat through the mimicry of wild beasts. |

Shadow Hunter | Jungle troll | The Shadow Hunter is an extremely popular hero among Orc players because of his massive support capabilities that he provides, especially in team matches. He is a fairly weak hero though, and requires protection to make the most out of him. He is often the second or third Hero due to his lack of offensive capabilities to compliment hero rushing and killing thanks to his Hex spell.These reclusive, wily jungle trolls are considered to be the highest authority within their respective warbands. |

Naga Sea Witch | Naga | The Naga Sea Witch is an exceptionally powerful Neutral Hero. While she isn't a great melee fighter, the Sea Witch is useful for ranged assaults and staying back behind the melee units in battle. The Sea Witch is a great Hero and unit killer, mainly because of her Frost Arrows' slow effect, which prevents enemies from fleeing from battles as easily. By the time the other player realizes their hero is almost dead, it will be too late and they'll be too slow to run away. |

Archmage | Human and unicorn | The Archmage is one of the most popular Human Heroes. Most Human players choose the Archmage as their first Hero because he helps out significantly with early creeping and harassment thanks to his Water Elementals and Blizzard.In team matches, Brilliance Aura is especially powerful for mana-reliant units and heroes because it increases the mana regeneration of all friendly units in range, especially spellcasters like Shamans for their Bloodlust. |

Alchemist | Goblin and Ogre | The Alchemist is a melee hero. He makes great damage which can be boosted through his Chemical Rage, but is more of a background support hero much like the Paladin. His best position on the battlefield is often out of range from attacks, preferably behind units that can protect him. There, he can fling his concoctions and affect the battle from a distance. If it is needed, he can rush in to swiftly finish off wounded or weak enemies. |

Warden | Night elf | The Warden is an assassination type Hero that can require a lot of skill to use. Unlike the Demon Hunter, she can't take the same amount of damage before dying. She lacks the Immolation and Evasion abilities and other bonuses that allow the Demon Hunter to survive in melee combat much longer. So the way you play the Warden is a little bit different. She is best played by sending her in to cast Fan of Knives or Shadow Strike. |

Keeper of the Grove | Keeper of the grove | The Keeper of the Grove is an powerful support Hero mainly due to his Entangling Roots and Tranquility spell alongside his passive Thorns Aura effect when learned. As a support hero, the Keeper of the Grove excels at taking down fleeing units with Entangling Roots. It should be his first spell, since he can temporarily incapacitate a target, which is especially useful in the early stages of creeping. It can also interrupt channeled spells In a pinch if he gets in range. |
